Question for Stereo Guru's out there

First I'd like to thank ******** for the plug n play V2 harness, which I recieved today.

The question is:

I have a Sony XMC2000 amp mounted on the sub box with 2-10" Kenwood KFC-W2502 speakers, is this going to complement the BA sound or hurt it? I'm not a sound man so what should the slide/rotary switches on the amp be set at? heres a pic of the amp. Am I wasting my time with this?

thats an oldschool Sony 6-channel amp... its pushing 30x6... so bridged its pushing what, 60 x3?

I would keep the subs if they're in good shape, sell the Sony and get a small Kicker (******** can probably help you there too)

Soo...
Meschwenk is all that good or bad? I have no clue. Should I use it as a stand alone sub system with the BA or wait till we can find the funds to a proper sub setup?

Btw thanks for the tech info looked like a foriegn language to me haha

I inherited this setup out of a old vehicle and never heard it play. And not being a sound expert would like to know if its worth putting in our Camaro this spring or wait till funds become available to get a newer sub system next year?
