Red face Had mine replaced today...

They ordered it a month ago, and set-up an appointment on a Saturday. Had my car 1/2 torn apart when the tech informed the service dept. staff that "this is a 4+ hour job, and shouldn't have been scheduled on a Saturday!" I told them to button it up, and I'd bring it back in 2 weeks.

Took from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM today. Apparently, the first blower motor made the same squeaking sound when they put it in, so they took another customer's new replacement motor and put it in (he's out of town so they ordered him a new one). Apparently, they have to "cut the motor out" so I was told.

Glad it's fixed...just hope it stays that way!

Now for the leaking brake fluid cap, inop windows and hazed-over radio screen!

You said "blower motor" and immediately thought you meant something more along the lines of this
