Tapshift

Just wondering how many use the tapshift function. I just started to use it to keep the stupid AFM from its continual switching between 4 and 8 cylinders.

I use it all the time, especially since I bought the Hurst Paddle shift kit.

Not familiar with tapshift- is it because you only have to press down on the clutch a little before it engages?

6 Banger here, I use tap shift all the time. Reason is I find that the auto tries to shift into 5th or 6th way to much.

I use it 95% of the time since I got the Pistol grip tap shifter from CFD(sponsor here on Camaro5) Don't have to keep both hands on the steering wheel!! It has the "taps" on the shifter!!
