I guess they figure if you're accelerating 0-60 in 4.6 seconds it'd be best to watch where you're going

Do you know if it's somewhat accurate? Seems too good to be true. Any experience with it?

if you don't get the four gauge pack do the readouts for the trans temp, volts, oil press, and oil temp get put with the in dash gauges?

also, will the readouts be the same in both the manual and auto?

With or without the 4 pack you get dummy lights in the main cluster. Yes the gauges are the same regardless of transmission type.

All that does is take measurements from the accelerometers and uses a few simple physics calculations to know your speed, distance, rate of acceleration, etc. I am guessing that for horsepower and torque, you have to give it something like vehicle weight, and it estimates the values based WOT acceleration.

I think most vehicles are prewired for the options, Ive noticed on my vehicles that sometimes you find that end for the mystery wire harness not connected to anything.

iIhaven't seen any pricing or availability on the 4 pak gauges. Does anyone know the cost? I am torn between the 1SS and the 2SS, but would like the 4pak gauges if i go with the 1SS.

My own personal guess would be from $150-$200 including install

I HIGHLY doubt they will be that cheap.

I think we are talking $450-$550 installed.

I mean, ONE aftermarket performance gauge can cost 100-200 sometimes.

I dont know but I hope your right...I just dont think they will be that cheap.

Anyone get any pricing on the 4pack tic toc guages yet? I am also wanting to get a 1SS over a 2SS. Even if the gauges are $500, I'd still be saving a lot by not getting the extra options on the 2SS that I do not want or need (ie heated seats, steering wheel controls, etc).

TIA!

Are we sure the trans temp is on a manual SS cluster? Why on earth would someone care about the trans temp of a manual unless they were running the 24 hours of Daytona??? That just doesnt seem right I can understand it for the automatics and think it is a good idea but for the manuals? ... it just doesnt make sense.
