The Vortech isn't even close to 6" taller. Here are the actual specs for those who are interested.

Vortech: (15.6"H x 20"W x 3.5"D)
Procharger: (12.0"H x 27" W x 4.5"D)

So the Procharger, from a physical size point of view, is larger than the Vortech. It gives up 3.6" in height but it is 7" wider and is an inch deeper across the entire surface area.

Which is more efficient depends on more than just size but I'd be willing to bet that the Procharger unit produces cooler air, albeit probably only slightly. Maybe we need an intercooler showdown to go along with the cold air showdown. Lol.

I can tell you from experience after some spirited runs or cruising around town my car is always cooler upon shutdown than my friends car with the vortech. Popped the hoods and his blower is hot to the the touch and mine is fine. It's not cold by any means but you can hold your hand on it safely.

Not a fair comparison, the Pro Charger specs you have listed is an upgraded intercooler system for the camaro. The Procharger P-1sc-1 kit actually comes with a 3 core intercooling system that is 27"W x 12.5"H x 3"D and good for 825 HP. Whereas the V3 system comes with an inter cooling system that is 15.6"H x 20"W x 3.5"D and capable of supporting over 1000 HP.

The V3 also gives you a 10 rib belt drive compared to and 8 rib belt drive that is packaged with the procharger systems.

Both of these systems(Vortech and Procharger) are very very similiar and you can't go wrong with either one.

People are funny...always good for a chuckle.....If you followed the thread then you would see that Juissd asked asked how the Vortech uniti compared to the upgraded PCharger unit.....sooooooo I provided the specs that would answer that question that was actually posed.......If that's "not fair" in your world then "that's life" in mine.

Also Procharger offers a P1-SC-1 kit that includes the race intercooler...it's simply a different kit part number and about a $500 dollar upcharge give or take if I recall correctly but you can order a kit with a P1SC and the race intercooler if you choose....why that matters I have no idea but apparently it's important to you.
