Z/28 reference in GM website

http://link.brightcove.com/services/...id=26871636001

I was going through the Camaro videos and found this one. Go to the 50 second mark and hear about the "Z/28 hood". Oh, GM... how I love, thee.

I wouldn't list a "picture car mechanic" as a reliable and trustworthy source

I just thought it was interesting that he didn't call it by any other name... (much like calling the front bumper "different") especially since this video was from around Spring 2009 (from what i remember). Now, he didn't say it was from a 5th gen Z/28, so it could have been a general reference to the fourth gen Z/28 hood "style" .

The use of the Z28 name implies speculation that the Z28 will have that style if it exists at all. Past speculation has suggested that a Z28 might look like that, but there are a couple of major designs that could become the Z28, including the Jay Leno Camaro and Bumblebee.

Ok this does go with a few pictures i saw back when we were getting spy shots of the Transformers 2 movie. A few pics of the front nose of Bumble Bee showed what looked to be a Z28 emblem and then the emblem was later removed and not seen again at about the same time we heard the Z28 was dead to to budget cuts. It has also been widely believed that the Z was to be the new Bumble Bee, so I guess this clip is from when that was still the case.

Not only that, but in the Bluray extras of Transformers 2, Bumblebee is clearly seen wearing the Z/28 badge (as are alternate versions of him).
