Question optical differences V6 / V8

so... in the other thread about the close up pics somebody said "i have to get the V8 over the V6" and I was like "I can't even tell the difference "

I really haven't noticed anything other than stuff like rims and headlights.

Anybody care to explain what the differences are?

Thanks!

Nobody, that is at liberty to say, knows. Everyone is just guessing based on the rims/brakes etc.

I thought people were saying that the chin/lip/air dam (or whatever) is different between the V6 and V8.

It's all speculation at this point.

You can read about some of the exterior differences in this thread.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4699

Nothing yet about performance differences, but we do have some "comfirmation" about appearance

This is the area that intrigues me most.
to a normal civilian, and not a ford hater like most of us The current Mustang V6 is just another 20,000$ car when you look at it, and when that GT comes out (although old now) it was badass with those foglights.
I hope my camaro isn't going to be just another 20 thousand dollar car, but wow, that guy has a camaro!
I don't mind a slight difference, gotta give the V8 buyers their credit, but don't detract from the V6 like the mustang. Instead of removing those fog lights, give us a different style that is clearly different but still adds to the looks.

look at it from the v8 buyers persepective. they are buying a much more expensive car. so when they see a v6 they may get angry that a base v6 looks the same as their 30k v8. there needs to be ways to differentiate between models. good example is the z06. things like a wider body set it apart from the base vette

You will be able to visually tell the difference between a V8 and V6 from a distance,

I know, that's why I said that v8 buyers should get credit. It should be different, it just shouldn't take away from the v6.
The v6 should look like a bad ass camaro, not a v6 camaro.
I could see them giving the v6 say, the first front end, and the v8 the meaner looking one. But they both look great in my opinion. I just don't want to see the v8 getting Halos, a huge design component, and the v6 getting 'stang like headlights, or something to that effect.

That's why I'm hoping the "RS" package will be avail. with the V6.
and this time around all the RS better have gfx.

I prefer this setup on the mustangs' lights:

This just looks goofy, on OR off, they're too overpoweringly giant:

I'm really hoping RS details are revealed the 22nd. (or some interior information/pics)

The lights look goofy, but then...they do match the car!

I hope, and think, that they will differentiate the different models. I think they learned that back when the ZR-1 came out in '89.
