Wax Clear Bra?

Forgive the stupid question but does one apply wax to the Clear Bra (Avery Nanofusion) like they do the pinted surfaces?

As the others said, you can, but its not required.

One tip I would give you is to mask the edge of it prior to doing any wax or polish work. The edges get caked up with product which can look pretty ugly. Prevention is the best medicine.

My installer said to wax it the same time as the car. I have 3M. So I use the same wax on it that I use on the car.

If you don't put a sealer on the clear bra, you will get bug stains and bird poop stains easier. Keep it slick and protected or it will just protect from rock chips only

We install the 3M clear film here and like many of the others have said, you can but you don't have to. And like Dylan said, stay away from the edges

I would recommend something like Ultima Paint Guard Plus or BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal. Both of these products are wipe on and walk away sealants. You simply mist on to the clear bra, spread into a thin coat, and walk away. The product self levels and dries to an amazing high gloss. The best part is that you don't have to worry about wax in the cracks or along the seem, these prodcuts dry 100 percent clear.

It is the same sealant used in these threads: BLACKFIRE Crystal Sealant- The 7 minute high gloss shine

BLACKFIRE Rapid Fire
