Cloth Interior Options - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well, we have a thread about the leather, but what about those of us that won't want all the fancy stuff like leather or a tapshift? Dunno if Fbod or his cronies can answer this:

When will we know for sure what the cloth colors will look like and will they be displayed on any of the saleable/production intent units going the autoshow circuit this coming year?

I'm curious as to what the beige cloth would look like on a 1SS and if the cloth will have the SS badging stitched into the headrests like the leather interiors. Not all too important, but it'd be a nice little treat.

I'd like to see quality pics of the production cloth also. I hope it's a nice high quality cloth. And a two-tone cloth option would be awesome. SS embroidery would be great too.

i'd like to see all options of the cloth interior. i'm getting black cloth no matter what, i just wanna see all the other options for fun. what does everyone think about going aftermarket to redo the stitching on cloth in a different color? and are there any suggestions on how to go about doing something like that?

I've wondered that also. If the Colbalt SS or HHR SS cloth is an indication, I'll be satisfied.

I'd sure like to know if the tan and gray sport cloth seats that come in the LT models are two tone like the leather seats we've seen in the pics of the Imperal Blue RS. I really don't want leather seats, but if the cloth ones aren't the two tone, I may have to upgrade to a 2LT. Those two tone leathers do look good.

Yes, the seats are both 2-toned whether you're getting cloth or leather/leatherette makes no difference! I too am looking to get cloth seats. I feel they will last me much longer and look far better down the road then when the leather starts to crack and stretch out of shape.

From what I've been told, the"SS" logo will only be on the 2SS models.

White SS on base 2SS's

Red SS on 2SS/RS's

No badging for 1SS

Damn. Well.. Damn. I got nothing. But I hope they do something nice for the cloth, maybe something like the seats I have in my sport now (Best cloth I have ever seen. Simple and rugged).

I can always get the SS embroidered in the headrests if I had the money..

i think you're talking about grille and trunk emblems... and as far as they go:
SS in both trims has a silver badge
SS/RS in both trims has a red badge

in this picture - the embroidery is IOM just like the seats. it's leather, but shows the point
