DashTronix Radar Projector! Display your V1 radar detector on the radio, DIC, + HUD!

is proud to announce the arrival of the new V1 Radar Projector for the 2010-up Camaro.

Now you can display your Valentine 1™ radar detector in your
radio, DIC (when DIC is placed in Navigation mode), and HUD (if equipped).

The HUD is not required to display your V1 on your radio and DIC.

Below is an animation of the Radar Projector in use on the DIC (in navigation mode), radio, and
HUD (if equipped).

The tiny Radar Projector™ comes with everything you need right out of the box. It plugs into your car at the OBD-II port under the steering column with the included 3 foot cable cable. It automatically controls the power to your Valentine 1™, using the telephone cord that came with your Valentine 1™, by sensing when you turn your engine on and off without the need for tapping fuses, wires or using the lighter outlet.

With its incredible efficiency and intelligence it's designed to be left plugged in to your car at all times. We have a solution for users that have something already plugged into the OBD-II port. There is an additional proprietary splitter that allows two devices to be plugged into the OBD-II port at the same time, which is available at the time of purchase. That way you can use both devices simultaneously.

Here are some of the exciting features of the new Camaro Radar Projector™.
  • There are three operational modes:
    1. Display on radio and HUD (if equipped) cars at the same time.
    2. Display on radio, DIC (when DIC is placed in Navigation mode), and HUD (if equipped) cars at the same time.
    3. Radar Projector Off and the V1™ display will be illuminated.
You do not need the HUD to use the Radar Projector. Your V1 alerts will be displayed on the radio or DIC (when DIC is placed in Navigation mode).
  • There are two different radar signal strength display formats in both
    the radio,HUD
(if equipped) cars, and DIC (when DIC is placed in Navigation mode).
    1. Format 1: Meters run right to left on the HUD (if equipped) cars and top to bottom on the DIC (when DIC is placed in Navigation mode) and radio.
    2. Format 2: Meters run left to right (HUD, DIC and radio use asterisks)
  • The RP™ modes and display formats can be switched by the user while
    driving.

    1. Just turn your radar detector off and then back on to switch display formats on the RP™.
    2. When the car is shut off, the RP will remember the last used mode so when you start your car, the RP starts in the same mode as you last selected.

All information from your Valentine 1™ is transferred to the radio, DIC (when DIC is placed in Navigation mode) or HUD (if equipped) cars so you don't have to take your eyes off the road to have radar
situational awareness. There is simply nothing else like the
Radar Projector™ available!

For more information, installation instructions, or to order your Radar Projector™, visit

Units are on sale, in stock, and ready to ship!

The DashTronix Radar Projector is 100% designed and built in the USA.

I have their unit for the Corvette in my 2010 ZR1 and it works fantastic! If the Camaro unit works as well as the 'Vette one does, this will be something every V1 owner will want. You can mount the V1 up around the passenger sun visor and no one behind you will know you have it on since it stays dark.

The current Radar Projector is only compatible with the Valentine 1 radar detector.

We are always looking to expand the Radar Projectors compatibility. While we dont have any info to release at the time, we will be sure to post if it becomes available in the future.

The HUD is not required to use the DashTronix Radar Projector on the 2010-up Camaro.

If you dont have the HUD you can display the radar detector on the radio and DIC.

This is awesome, just gonna say that, I haven't even ever contemplated getting a radar detector and now I want one just for this. Imagine what you could use this for, the technology, you could make a custom display you could have performance information fed to it. Also not to thread jack but GTPprix how is the custom BCM programming coming along? You can PM me if you want instead of helping me jack the thread hahahaha
