are you installing fender flares to gaurd aganst stone chips?
and does anyone have pics of chips caused by not having them? I had a 3M clear bra installed to protect my IBM, but I am still concerned about the area right behind the door and in front of the gill slits. you can see the clear bra behind the rear wheel in this pic |

That is why I went with the clear bra, but not so sure you couldn't put splash guards on front with ground fx. The GM and ground fx are very similar to stock just behind front wheel. It would be a very weird look and I would not put them on my car now.
Thanks for the pm about chipping, and your car is the only other one I have seen with chrome light bezzels. |

Has anyone attempted to have their front and rear fascias repainted to match the body better?
Just wondering if IBM is fairly easy to match or one of those colors that any repaint is going to be a hair off anyway so best not to mess with. In bright sunlight my fascias are a hair lighter, and the metallic flake doesn't pop as much as the body. The body seems a deeper blue, with more depth to it and more variety to the metal flake, with some big shiny flecks here and there. I'm suspecting the body has Xirallic flake, and the fascias do not. |

I don't know if anyone else saw this but over in the NS-3 Stripes thread xVengeancex28 made a photoshop of an IBM with the NS-3 stripe kit. I think it looks awesome, and the closest shop ive seen to the real IBM color.
Of note, he blacked out the front facia around the lights and the front splitter. Might give someone some ideas. Having real IBM paint for stripes is very appealing to me. |

I don't care for the triangle shaped door accent stripes people have done, but in my opinion the way yours ties in to the vented fender makes this look entirely different and absolutely killer!! Well done.

I think the only 2 colors that will look good is a grey like they are now, or a light blue.
