Drove slightly easy for about the first 300 miles to allow everything else to break in as well. Then rev up to 5500 and easy shift into the next gear. Changed oil at 750 miles with Mobile 1, but Mobile 1 was different back then. Started running it hard, with some easy running in between. 3000 mile was next oil change. Not much oil in my catchcan and I'm in the throttle a lot. Use but don't abuse it.

It's a Synergy thing..
|
Just a little fun fact:
Did you know that federal safety regulations mandate that brake pedals must be unbreakable? Think about it.... Now you know!

Every car I have ever bought new, I drove like I stole it. An old race car builder told me to do this and my rings would seat properly and I would never a lick of trouble from the motor.
I know that this is a touchy subject but from my personal experience, this is the way to go. Others may disagree. |

Well guys thanks for all the input on braking in the camaro. The one thread on
braking in a engine hard was a interesting read and clarified a bunch of my thoughts on the importance of seating the rings and getting a good seal. I never own a aluminum block and just didn't know. Thanks guys
