My Trip to the Escort Store
Still here in Cincy Oh and yesterday I decided to go the Escort factory because they have a retail store and I wanted to buy the visor mount and pick up a couple of extra suctions cups for my Solo 2. I get to the store, I asked for the the parts I needed and the lady working there gave them to me for free! I asked her if they had a trade in program and she said yes. They give you $80.00 for Escort products and $40.00 for non Escort products. I would have pulled the trigger of trading my Solo 2 for the Solo 3 but I am going to Florida at the end of the week. I will be an Escort customer for the rest of my life. Great experience dealing with them.
On a different note, I am going to test out the visor mount and was wondering if anyone has tried it. It sits a little bit farther from the windshield and I want to see if the performance goes down. I like it on the visor because it doesn't block any of my view. |

That's exactly what I thought from the thread title. Then I was going, hmmm they wouldn't let a thread about hookers stay open for long.

Unless it was actually a thread about headers... now we are way off topic.

Forgot what the thread was about. Oh yeah, Escort stuff. Sorry, no visor/suction cup stuff with my 9500ci. Its a stealth type of install. Andit is a badass unit. Escort is great. Glad to hear of your experience. I called them up before I left Lingenfelter's parking lot for the 650HP 600 mile ride home and they helped me out within minutes about the Laser jamming operation.
Which also worked great.
