And the fact that the SS is the top model for now; one would think some options would be standard. Look at the SRT8's the 20inch rims, spoiler, leather are standard.
Ala-carte is a manufacturers nightmare. Get it close and get to know your local GM parts guy well. He'll sell you whatever you need.
The car is still 8 months out, I'm gonna sit back n see what happens.

I predict a lot of changes in package deals before they start rolling them off the lots!

I apologize if my reaction is harsh, I'm just shocked at all the "I'm pissed, angry, dissatisfied, comments since yesterday. Let's wait till February before we get our britches in a bunch over possibly nothing.

I believe we were told there are LOTS of options available...so it is still possible that some of the items you want could get grouped in other packages that you might like better...I don't know anything for sure; but I think you hit it on the head when you said it's "kind of early". Don't get pissed just yet: we still haven't been told everything....

It is eligible. ALL Camaro models from LS to SS can opt for the RS package.

the same ARE all standard in the SS...along with brembo brakes, limited slip diff, power seat, ambient lighting, etc...

actually dragon, it looks like the LS cannot get the RS package as of right now.. you have to be in a 1LT or higher.

I thought...well huh. My bad. The dealer wins this one!

(Good to know about that stuff being standard on the SS. I'm wanting it more and more...)

My thought is..If you want the halos without the 20's then get the package and sell the 20's to someone who wants them and has the smaller rims that you want.

The good news is that the price difference between the LS and 1LT should be minimal.

Malibu LS $20,750
Malibu 1LT $21,350

Impala LS $22,050
Impala 1LT $22,900

Even if it's $1,000 difference, you'd be getting fog lamps, wheels, and a power driver seat with the 1LT.

yea, I meant to say the LS. I couldn't remember if the LS was the lower model or the LT. Looks like I'm still aiming for the LT.
