Interesting Interior Detail.....??

I'm probably going to sound like an idiot asking this because I'm probably the only person who is just NOW realizing this bit of detail but why does it say "Welcome..." on the windshield?? Is there like a laser display sort of thing that shows up on the windshield that like...talks to you???

+2; I haven't noticed this yet.

IMHO, it should also say "Hang On."

I'm 99.9% sure that Chogan2200 is asking about the HUD. In which case, I don't see a point to this thread staying open.

No. I noticed this too. It is not the same HUD everyone is talking about. It is a picture that is takin from the passanger's perspective that says "Hello" at the very top of the windshield. At first I was interested in it being some kind of HUD but it really does look like a rendering. I would provide a pic but im on a gov. computer and It wont allow me to do so for some reason. Sorry :(

the key's aren't even in...I think that might be a reflection or something. Unless it happens when the door opens.

I think......

I think that's just a screen or poster outside the car....
If I had to make an educated guess...I'd say it was a teleprompter. This pic was taken behind Ed Welburn in the garage --see his hand? (you think they memorized everything they had to say?)

Damn, I wanted my car to greet me everytime I look at it. When will the "welcome" feature be available?
