Headers for L99 worth the money?

Just bought me a 2010 2SS with the L99 6.2. Already has the AFE cold air intake and custom exhaust. Will headers give me enough extra ponys to justify the $600-$700 price tag on them? Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

mmm yes, but most headers are closer to the $1000 range and up.

Your going to spend more than that if you get yourself some good ones... For longtubes that is. There are some good deals out there. Just depends on what your looking for as far as how you want your car to perform/sound and future mods. I say get them... I love the extra rumbling sound.... But that's just me

You can get TSP headers for that price or a used set of the expensive ones. There is really no difference in power made between the companies.

Yes. it was worth it to me.
it will compliment your intake and the sound by itself will please you more than the power probably.

Long tubes are the best bolt on mod you can do. They make great power on L99 cars and it's something you can feel and hear the differance with. Well worth the money. We recomend going with Stainless Works or ARH. They both make top notch headers that won't rust out in a couple years. Check out our website and check out some options.

I found a great set of XSPower 1 7/8" headers, 3" off road x pipe and 3" cat back for $750 shipped. They had the whole kit going for $650 shipped, don't know if that deal is still on.

Long tube headers are definitely worth the money, and they will continue to benefit you with additional mods. Our headers are made out of highest quality 304 S/S and they are made right here in the USA! Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Not a big fan of the Chinese stuff as I fix a ton of it. It's crap welds with a pulse pass over top. It's usually all polished up to. 3 dressed up as a 9...
Not sure about the price difference, but I'd get the stepped Kooks headers.
