Yea they are here (one is on Chandler blvd just east of the I10). They are quite a few around so i didn't think of putting it on the list because of the whole franchise thing...

I used to go here every year on my way back home from a day at Barrett-Jackson... Last time I was there though one of the people at the register was unfamiliar with the secret menu.

Man vs. Food is in Phoenix right now at a place called Chompie's Diner where the host is facing off against a five-pound platter of twelve “Jewish Sliders” (mini-challah rolls filled with lean beef brisket, jack cheese and a potato pancake) and a mountain of onion strings, which he had to finish in thirty minutes or less.
