I wasn't talking about the ones coming out of Carol's shop ,but the ones that Ford builds and puts his name on.

Everyone who says "I'm glad I have what I have because it's the best it will ever be" is silly. There's no reason to scoff at changes in regulation that in the short game may nerf how fast our cars go. If we have learned anything from the 70s it's that adversity breeds ingenuity. Speed junkies will always find new ways to make their toys go fast. Okay, so every car now has to have to have 40 mpg efficiency. Perhaps 10, 20, or 30 years from now there will be hydroelectric supercars pumping 800 hp and 50 mpg with 1000 mile range because of the current "bad" changes in regulation, we'll just have to wait and see provided a meteor sent by the myans doesn't get us first.

Sure, there will always be improvements, but the ZL1 is and will remain a benchmark achievement. |

I'm keeping a close eye out for my eventual "let in" for the zl1. Deep down I know that it will be the last of its kind. We'll still have v8's, but fire breathing, mega horsepower american muscle (and this white hot power war) will surely smolder at or after '16.

The next Camaro will be more technologically advanced that is for sure. But the pinacle of styling in my eyes has all ready been reached with the 5th gen Camaro. Once you downsize, decrease the broad shoulders, It will start to look like all the others small cars out there. These high horsepower cars will become very collectable because we are coming to an end of an era.

Some people will surely dissapointed when the current ZL1 eventually gets outclassed. Keep fooling yourselves. You will end up pissed off like the people who thought the 500hp Shelby would be the last of the muscle cars.
