I wish that sedan came out 18 months ago when we bought my wife her car.
Her car is still fun to drive, but a Turbo would of been awesome. There is a kit that I can get to Turbo her car, but I don't want to void the warranty.

looks pretty much the same, but i really dont pay attemtion to colbalts. but imo it does not even come close to compete with the mazdaspeed3.

This is pretty neat!! Launch Control, huh? That'd be a nice option for the Camaro.... who doesn't like a nice launch?
I can't say I'm in the market....cause I'm not - but it definitely makes the Cobalt look like a great Car...which it is! As for the Mazdaspeed comment....The Cobalt is lighter with ~about the same hp/torque numbers as the Mazda. MS3 has 20more lb/ft. That alone puts the Mazda down. And we all know how the last competition went between close competitors. coughG8vsChargercough j/k, I'm just kidding.... Thanks for thinkin' of us temporary Cobalt folks, Silverado! ...After all, the Camaro IS coming! |

Your right, they do look the same. It will be interesting to see the head to head.

Very nice. I can't wait to see the next gen. The Cobalt is nice, but it is starting to lag a bit behind the competition. Sure the performance is top notch now, but the interior certainly is a liability. I hear promising things about the next gen delta platform, so I'm keeping my hopes up. Look around and see how many people here drive Cobalts. There are a ton of us. The Cobalt and Aveo are vital for getting people into the brand.

Not a high quality video, but gives a good example as to the performance of the new Cobalt SS.

I almost bought a Cobalt instead of the Mazda 3. Basically we found out we were having a baby. And it made our decision real easy.

I actually think this Cobalt SS is a good idea, since the current SRT-4 is such an ugly pile of crap...haha.

Thats pretty awesome.
For $24,000, thats a lot of bang for the buck. And it broke the Ring record time for front wheel drive compact cars.
