Talking Advice for new brakes/rotors for 17" Rims

I did a search but I didn't see an answer to my questions.

I have a 2LT/RS but I have 17" rims for my snow tires so I can't get SS brakes installed because of the roller skates. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Here are my requirements:
- Quiet as possible. Highest priority.
- Stopping power equal to or better than stock.
- Its a daily driver. Won't see track time but I still want reliable stopping.

What are my options for pads, rotors, calipers?
SS pads?
Brembo calipers?
Will the 14" SS rotors fit? I've seen LOTS of V6 to SS brake threads but none mention if they fit 17" wheels.

Thanks!

If the only reason Brembo SS calipers can't work is the roller skates, just put in aftermarket pads...I think only the oem pads have the roller-skates...

I agree with the above. Do SS setup with aftermarket pads. Best performance for your dollar.

So I can do an SS setup on 17" wheels?

Setup as in rotor and calipers?

No you can't. There are only a couple brands of 17" wheels that work with SS calipers and they are drag specific wheels. What 17" wheels are you talking about?

If you have your winters on a cheap set of steelies or other type of wheel they will most definitely not fit and you're being led in the wrong direction.
