I am new to the site, and am from the St Louis area. I am looking for info on local car shows and midwest car shows. I would also be interested in getting in on the Marovan to Camaro5fest. If someone could give me some info about it, if they have ever been there, I would appreciate it. Does any local people know of anywhere to go to try and get some runs on a car, since Gateway has closed down? I have the dyno numbers, but would like to see how I stack up on the street. Any info would be appreciated.

Gateway has opened for the season. The Hot Rod Power Tour will be there in June. It's an event not to be missed.

Oklahoma, NWA (who will be tagging along with us), and Kansas may wanna consider grabbing a hotel room somewhere in Missouri on Wednesday night in order to cut the drive by several hours. This way we can be checked in and be ready for the cruise at the Host hotel by 6 PM on Thursday.

I will be hopping on 70 at Marshall Ill. just a few mi from Indina.

We're a little over two weeks out but the SICC members that are going will try and get a meeting time and place along I70 worked out and will post it here. I'd like to have a place and a 30-60 minutes were we would wait for everyone to arrive, then head out. I think the general idea is rolling out Thursday morning sometime.
