I'm not feeling any of those wheels..... I prefer my stock midnight silver 20"s.

I def think the SSX wheels kind of look like a better version of the 4th gen Camaro SS 10 spokes?

They do slightly resemble the 2k SS rims. They're not too bad, I like them. Nice for a stock starter but would probably get swapped out in the long run.

Yeah the oil system in the z06 doesn't use gravity, it has its own pump to keep it going when making serious turns from the g's. Not sure why it won't let me embed the video, but here's a pretty good explanation. Pretty interesting stuff.

I do not totally believe that the wheels on the SSX is the Z/28's wheel, but i do believe that the offset and other spec's will be the same. Remember that it say's from the display board that the wheels are "via Z/28 blanks".

That polished wheel in the background is not quite the same design as the SSX wheels that's also in the display.

Yeah this will be interesting to say the least. We were under the impression that the Z06X and SSX wheels (which were identical IIRC) were going to be a production 2012 wheel for a Corvette model. We have not confirmed that whatsoever though! Can't wait to see!!

The SSX and Z06X wheels are a similar with their concave design, but the spoke pattern is different. Both are equally awesome IMO.

I doubt it that the rims seen on the z28 test mules will wind up on the z28 but...

It would make sense to fit your test car with rims that are the same width and diameter as the rims that you plan on using for the production model because then you will get the exact same amount of grip whereas using smaller diameter or larger diameter rims could greatly change the handling characteristics, so I would bet that the rims on the z28 are going to be the same diameter as seen on the mule

This video has some nice looks at the wheels on both x track cars. Funny thing is - they detail all the mods to both cars, but don't say a word about the wheels.
