Camaro5 ZL1 agreements....

We should draft up a ZL1 agreement for all Camaro5 members who get one.

To promise, as owners of the fastest production Camaro ever, to never be snooty and always uphold the spirit of Camaro: Friend, Pal, or Comrade.

Or should we not?

I thought it might be fun to pass the time and see what everyone can come up with as far as "terms".

We're all car guys here. The ones who can manage to put one in their garage will be rightly proud. Those that can't, will read every comment as snooty from the snooty snotty sob owners of the fastest production Camaro ever.

I do not think that those of us on this forum that purchase a ZL1 will look down on any other Camaro owners. No matter how fast the ZL1's will be, someone will build a faster car with more horsepower. There are quite a few members that already own Camaros that have more horsepower than the ZL1 and I do not see them looking down on other Camaro SS's and LT's. I am sorry, but I really do not see a reason for this thread.

I don't either. But I was tired of reading about the gtr in our forum. Figured I'd give us something else to debate over.

I can understand that but I was hoping that more people would understand that the all wheel drive GT-R is $45,000 more and should be faster.

Just think almost a decade ago a 400 hp factory camaro was a pipe dream. Now look....the camaro at its finest with almost 600 hp out the door. C'mon......could it really be any better???

Well if they think that the ZL1 is too slow, then let them pay the extra money for the GT-R, Ferrari or Porsche that may be faster. But, for the best bang for your buck, the ZL1 will be hard to beat.
