Bro, Ive listened to that over and over and over again, and I have no idea...
I know there were some suggestions on the other thread.. but dang... No tranny shops in the area you trust, just to listen to it...

Have you removed the drive shaft and tried to spin the tranny out put shaft by itself, or the diff by itself... If you dont hear it in either, then it has to be something in the shaft, and if you hear noise in one or the other, then it's isolated at least... I'm supposing you still have the factory shaft... if so, have you checked the carrier bearing, or the u-joints going into it...

By looking at the video on the iphone, it looks like the rear wheels are on the ground and your spinning the driveshaft. Was tranny in neutral?

It sounds to me like it could be the carrier bearing or something in the diff, but I imagine it's really hard to diagnose the sound due to it being transmitted so easily through the drive shaft... Thats why I'm hoping R can pull the drive shaft and rotate the different components individually...

K It was hard to see on iphone. I thought the rear wheels were on the ground and PQ was spinning the driveshaft. If that was the case I would say the diff has serious issues.

Front wheels on the ground, turning the rear wheels and vid and noise is coming from tranny. No noise at all in the rear.
