Exclamation GM to Offer 60-Day Money Back Guarantee on Cars

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/11/bu.../11gm.html?hpw

This is gutsy as hell, but could it work?? Don't ruin this by turning the thread into a referendum on President Obama or "government motors".

Guarantee is always good and 60 days gives u time to know if it's what u want.
This will also increase sales.

Pretty ballsy. I like it though, it shows they have confidence in what they're building.

Figures, I've already had my car for 72 days, so I guess I'm already over the time limit for the guarantee. Oh wait!! I'm completely satisfied with my new Camaro....nevermind.

yes i think this is a very debatable topic........you have a company emerging from bankruptcy using taxpayer dollars and they offer progams like this? what a joke? i mean seriously.

And that fine print is such a joke..........who can afford that?

say for example the fine print didnt exist. i could go buy a camaro right now and return it and that car has lost about $4k in value in those 2 months which means GM just ate $4k.

good business practice? no
