Chin track day at Sebring!!

I just finished my first track day with my 1LE. This is the third car I have had at the track and can honestly say it is thru most balanced, easy to drive monster I have ever driven. Even when you get slightly out of shape the recovery is so easy!!! I will try and post some pics. My silver 1LE logos on my front calipers are now black!!! Any questions ask away!!

Nice, looks like those breaks got a lot of work in. Did they run teh full course or short course and what pads are you running? I am hoping to go to a couple of SCCA PDX events this summer with my 1LE, went last summer with my 2010 SS.

Looks like your caliper is leaking brake fluid at the bleed nipple. Might want to get that checked before it destroys the paint on your caliper and potentially your wheel.

Running hawk dtc 30 front hp plus rear. Yes it is the full course. To answer your question on the leaky bleeder valve. It seemed to be excess fluid from when the brakes were bled. We checked resouvior after each season and all the fluid is there. Sorry for the upside down pics btw

I have been dealing with this since i got my 1LE.GM actually warrantied my 2 front calipers, and they still leaked. I actually got my rotors to glow
and got the brakes/rotors so hot that i destroyed them

Well,we expect that to change next month I cant remember if you have signed up yet or not.You seemed to handle your self pretty good out there at Button.I would recommend either the black group or purple. They dont always run black and purple, but i think you will have the most fun there.Just a heads up, i am able to hit 140 mph before i let off going into the bank,i would expect you can see 145 + since your not stock, cant wait to hear that thing all rung out

My pleasure, lets see pic's of the set up.That would really suck if the paint is ruined.I would peruse a warranty claim and get them to replace them.
This is a "TRACK CAR" and marketed as such. You shouldn't have ruined calipers doing what the car was designed to do!

summit's calipers are the CTSV 6 pots. Won't get a warranty claim on that since they aren't stock.
