Your not gonna like hearing this but you cannot just upgrade to any blower. Look at the upgrade sheet, if you have a F1C you can upgrade to an R but if you have a PISC or DISC you cannot get n F series. If you pln on going bigger in the future, start with the F series and no I am not getting to pay the difference from the R to F2. I have to buy a new F2 head unit.

Dude. What are your goals? An, F-2 and nitrous kit? Ummm.... that's going to be insanity. How much TQ / HP do you think that will produce?

Dont have any specific hp/tq in mind only 1/4 mile time. I want to do low 9's easily with blower and use nos for 8's

Curious too about F1-R; What do you mean wouldn't build boost? Are you saying you couldn't get it to produce more than a specific amount of psi? Are you looking to build engine to higher RPM's? Also, are you rebuilding engine to a different compression ratio, what was existing compression?

Base hp of motor is too high for the F1R to produce more than 20psi without having heat issues. F2 cures this.

Car going to be nuts with an F-2 and NOS.
Yes it is

Oh, well. If that's the case I guess I'll be sticking to my D-1SC.

That P1 will make maybe 5 lbs if you have a properly setup camshaft, and thats if you don't plan on running alot of rpm. I would never run a built 427 with that small of a blower, there is a reason on even stock z06's they run a minimum of a D1sc. The IAT's are going to be crazy on that thing.

A D1SC is a nice size head unit for street maners and driveability, you should safely make around 800rwhp and if its put to use, very few can beat you on the street and with comfort.
Dyno queens are not always fast cars but sure puts up big dyno numbers, now big dyno numbers don't mean the power could be used if it can't hook, so while the big dyno numbers are spinning you could be winning.

Yes car is at Cincy Speed. I am very happy with these guys and my current issue has nothing to do with them as part of it was with the meth kit and the other issues we seem to think could be related to the block as I really screwed over by Adkins Performance with this motor and it is just now that all the issues are being worked out and over the winter this car will be as close to perfect as can be and will hopefully get some winter testing before spring. Yes I will definitely be at CFest 3 and will be running all season long at many events as this car is being built to be run hard at all times.

You going to run the LSX series? I am thinking of doing all 4 events plus CFest and a few others.

Believe me besides the pretty dyno numbers which to me are just verifying the tune and measuring results the vehicle is very purpose built (not for straight line driving either). Next steps will be the tranny, rims, axles and rubber.
So, yeah most likely starting from a dead stop with 800rwhp. tires will spin if I'm not careful, but I guess that's just part of the overall fun.

Easy fix is get you some drag wheels and bolt the tire = no tire slippage on wheel. Only heavy suspension and chassis work will you be ably to maximize all the power and have components hold up.
