Where are you trying to take the car? Drag racing..road racing...street cruiser?

Drag Racer I'd buy some drag radials.
Road Racer I'd invest in some Pfadt Suspension products.
Street Cruiser I'd save a little more money and buy some smoking hot wheels.

Pfadt lowering springs and their rear bushing kit will tighten the car up nicely and help it get around the track quicker.

Lowering springs, bushings, and sways! Just got a whole ZL1 sway/bushing package from Pedders for under that price. My springs are from Pfadt though.

If your wanting power you could do the Stainless Power headers and a Jannetty SCT tune for under that price. You could even go cheaper and get some OBX headers which tons of people seem to be happy with. Then you'll have extra dough for the install or a ported tb, thats next on my list or the scoop/ washer bottle relocation.

long tube headers...

the best mod for the buck out of all my mods to date. Literally, the grin was twice the size from when I drove the car off the lot day 1. Suspension products do make the ride so sweet, but I cannot look past the incredible sound of headers man...

BUT... it does appear you still have your power train warranty so I could see how that would be a tough first step.

As far as headers, Stainless Power subsid. of Stainless Works, are a good choice. 304 stainless no need for coating, mandrell bent for smooth flow, light weight, thick flang for good seal, good fit and finish, good price and oh yea good hp. gain.
