Meth Tank

Any pics of where you put your meth tanks?

Trying to figure out where to put mine and don't really want to "hide it" per say in the battery well.

PIcs if you could please!

Unfortunately, there's no room under the hood to run a tank that holds anything. Don't bother running a small two quart as I have seen others do and who surely found out on their own how quickly that tank runs out.

Besides using the windshield washer tank. Your only other choice is mounting something in the trunk.

Here's a pic of our Universal 3 gallon trunk mount with pump built into the tank.

If you fabricate one. Don't make it out of aluminum as I saw over on the other thread. The methanol will eat the aluminum causing it to oxidize and turn white. Needs to be stainless if you are going to fabricate it.

I don't drive my car in the rain so I used the stock washer tank....has a low level warning on the DIC and it holds a lot of fluid.

How did you get it to show on the DIC?

We use low level sensors with a red LED so alert the driver when its starting to get low
