ZL1 295 fronts but not the 1LE??

Hello,

I am doing research on the MICHELIN PSS tires and keep reading ZL1 guys put 295s in the front...but they would rub on a 1LE (front)

What gives?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

I doubt they would as there are members running 315's all around, I believe. I am sure the pros will chime in shortly...3....2......1

I have a 1le that is stock height. Im interested in PSS tires since i know they run wider. Are the trofeos as wide as the PSS?

I looked into the PSS 295 but they are too much money for 10mm. Not worth it for me IMO. The 285 are already oversized 285 (similar in size to Nitto 315s).

I want to run a 295 square setup on some 10.5" Forgelines...

Currently I run 285/295 on the stock wheels with some PSS tires. I like it.

I don't see any reason unless the ZL1 strut is a considerable amount smaller diameter that b it wouldn't work...

My main worry is the tire would bulge instead of stretch. It would affect the sidewall flex. I have the 285/295 combo and the sidewall bulge is virtually identical.

Like I said 10.5" with a 295 square set up is the ticket. I've talked to Forgeline and it can happen but my wallet can't handle it right now.

I have Michelin 295's on all 4 corners. No issues here. I am at stock height, although contemplating a 1.25" drop.
I imagine with the right speed and pothole/speed bump, a good rubbin' will occur! LOL
