Pedders will not sell sway bars with out selling the sway bar links along with it, since the stock links are not strong enough for our bars.

So the $700 price tag is for the front sway bar with both adjustable end links,
The rear ZL1 style bar with HD Links (available in two sizes based on the amount of drop you have)

Other manufacturers don't sell them as a package, or as a requirement, their reasons may vary

Will they be available in a street package with lowering springs like your current bars?
Stay tuned! More info is coming in the next couple days. We are hoping to have these available by early next week.

To actually answer your question though, they will be available in a package that includes the drop springs at a discount.

This is true, I priced everything needed to swap my 2010 to 2012 ZL1 sway bars, LCAs, and endlinks. It came out to a little over $400. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but great deal.

Very true I already had the 2012 rear control arms so cost was lower and with both front and rear zl1 bars on the car even on the road it is noticibly flater and feels so much more sure footed in the turns very excited for this sundays autocross to see how the car balances out, compared to last event we just ran the rear zl1 bar to compare how just rear vs. front and rear would feel.

I had a chance to check out the new Pfadt sway bars out this past weekend and they are awesome. The new Quick Switch bar ends are just another example of the engineering expertise that separates Pfadt from others.

We have designed, engineered, and manufactured a new rear swaybar for the 2012s:

Quote:
This LSR performance adjustable rear swaybar was made specifically for the 2012+ Camaro with the FE4 and FE5 suspensions found on most SS, 1LE, and ZL1 models.

The factory rear swaybar on models equipped with this option are re-designed and our original rear swaybars do not fit this application.

This new swaybar fits FE4 and FE5 suspension models and is an upgrade for even further improved performance. CNC bent from tubular 1-1/8 inch DOM steel and then TIG welded with billet steel ends. Each end provides three adjustment positions for fine tuning. Each position provides a 10 percent increase in stiffness, with a minimum stiffness increase of 25 percent.

In addition we've also included greaseable, adjustable endlinks with heavy duty 12mm ball joints at each end to replace the rubber bushing endlink design found on the factory swaybar and other competitors swaybars. This eliminates compliant soft rubber in the factory endlinks allowing them to work more effectively, without adding any NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness).

Outstanding upgrade for street and track use.

Product Benefits
  • 3-position adjustability for fine tuning of handling balance
  • Double adjustable heavy-duty ball joint-style endlinks
  • Lightweight thin wall DOM CNC bent tubular steel construction
Please let me know if I can help you with this.

FYI -- The ONLY srear bar that will fit with Supercar Coilovers is the Pedders Z style rear bar. We have had this bar on the market long enough to have sold through pallets of them. Some of our clients found that the drag wheels they run did not fit with the OE or Pedders Z style bar. based on that client input we have revised our rear Z bar to accommodate 11.5" rear wheels and the Vee / Drag Radial package so many run.

Does Pedders work on the drag strip? The three fastest IRS Camaros at C5FEST were all on Pedders Supercar or Lingenfelter by Pedders Drag Coilovers.

Does Pedders work on a road course or autocross?

Pardon the tach. I set the data logger incorrectly.

There are a few options available at this time. Pedders has had their packages available for a few months and the Pfadt package HERE was just released. If you've already got a 2012 Camaro SS I would suggest sticking with the FE4/5 design. It is superior in every way.

Please feel free to call, email or PM me anytime with questions. We're happy to help you find the best solution for your specific needs and budget.

Kind regards,

So now the question is: pedders or pfadt for a 2012 ss or zl1?
