Had the car well over a year and still gets looks - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

As we all know I am a car guy and I don't care if it is chevy, Ford, Dodge .. or even imports ... there is one thing I will give credit to GM for though .. keeping this car as close as possible to the concept!

I do think this is one of the best looking cars I have owned as far as the shape of the car goes ... I've had my car since June 6th 2009 and I still come out of a store or restaurant and people are looking at it .. When I'm driving I constantly see people looking in their drivers side mirror checking the car out ..

Anyway .. I'm sure you all have observed the same .. I know a lot of the car mags say that when it first came out the look was great, but they think it is getting a bit stale .... I don't think they are seeing the same things we are ..

Right there with you, my car still gets lots of stares! By the way, tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary for picking it up from the dealer.

i really don't see how they can say it gets stale when alot of bmws have kept the same style for years and all the series look very similar from the 3-7 series

Yup, you're exactly right!

I started a similar thread about how many compliments I get with my car, and then the Camaro haters chimed in with their 2 cents (well, what they said was actually only worth 1/2 a cent

).

Driving on the highway the other day, an SUV going by me stayed right at my fender. After 5 or 10 seconds of this, I looked over to see him reviewing my car from front to back.

Then when I took the exit, the guy in the toll booth said "Ooh, Ca-Mar-Oh!"

I was at AutoZone the other day and two girls came out of the store and they wanted to take pictures of my car. It is a blast to get compliments like this.

They went through a LOT of trouble to keep this design as close to the concept as they did. It definitely paid off!!

Like being a celebrity when driving these awesome Camaro's, I have said it many times, the 2010 Camaro is the best looking Camaro ever made.

I get lots of compliments, but came out of Home Depot the other day and a girl in a car next to mine say's "nice shorts". Are you kidding me? They are nice shorts as far as i am concerned, but didn't say a word about my car.
