This is my first post here, I hope it's in the right category.

Quick version: Can Leather and bluetooth be added to a 1SS by the dealer or another party? Any idea of the costs involved?

Long version: I'm very interested in buying a 2SS Camaro but have not placed an order, so I'm looking to buy one "off the lot" from a local dealer. The obvious problem is that these vehicles are selling quite a bit higher than MSRP, and it's looking to be impossible for me to find a 2SS manual that's not marked up $10k.

There is one exception that I've found so far. A very nice dealer in my area has a "customer ordered" 1SS coming in that the original customer can no longer take delivery of. The dealer is offering it to me at MSRP. The problem is that I would very much like to have the leather interior and bluetooth options. The dealer claims this can be done but I couldn't get much more info beyond the broad statement of "it can be done". Do you guys have any experience with this?

Don't settle more and more of these are coming. I got an email today from a local dealer that got a 2ss in and customer backed out. Also check autotrader and if anything interests you email them for info. There are cars and there are cars available at msrp just gotta look.

I believe the leather can be done for 500 bucks.. Usually the dealers offer that from a local leather shop. it might cost 750 now a days.

Usually its better leather than from the factory.

Not sure about the bluetooth though.. (I don't have a clue on that one)

jpsuperman81: It's easy to say that but I can't find anyone else in a 150 mile radius with a vehicle they'll let go at MSRP so far. Frustrating.
