How fast is 1LE in 1/4 MILE ?
I saw the magazine time of 12.99. How fast is a stock 1LE in the real world 1/4 mile ? How does it measure up to the the Mustang GT on the street ?

Depends on the magazine. Motor Trend did it in 12.7 seconds at 111.8 mph.

the super fast list is on the sticky list on this subforum...high 12's and low 13's is what I normally see here... all the mustangs around here don't seem to want any part of a Camaro except this one that's super modded and prowls the streets late at night trying to bully whoever he can

I ran a documented 12.991 two weeks ago bone stock. There is a thread in this forum.
In "Mexico" I raced a 2013 5.0 GT and it was door to door until the very top of second and I nosed past him barely. Don't discount the 5.0L, are lighter than us but our HP is underrated.

Pretty much the same as the SS.
There are numerous threads on this subject: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=300728 |

The 3860-pound 1LE posts admirable track numbers, too. Getting to 60 mph from nil takes 4.3 seconds; a quarter mile arrives in 12.7 seconds at 111.8 mph; braking from 60 mph to a standstill takes 101 feet. Most impressive: It achieved a 1.03 g average on the skidpad (for reference, that's stickier than a 2012 Audi R8 GT) and traced our figure eight in 24.2 seconds at an average 0.83 g. Before you Google "2012 Mustang Boss 302 Motor Trend", here are the 'Stang specs you seek: 3640 pound curb weight; 4.0 seconds from 0 to 60 mph; quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds at 115 mph; 60 mph to 0 in 106 feet; 1.0 g skidpad average; figure eight in 24.6 seconds at 0.81 g average. Feel free to discuss below.

only reason 5.0 are so quick is they started sticking alot more aggressive Cams than before and comparitively than the LS has. as well as the fact that the top end of a 5.0 is far more impressive than our LS's. the 5.0 runs a 32 valve system |
