Cool Exhaust Choices

Hi everyone,

I just bought a new SS and I LOVE IT!! I am finding myself already wanting to do an exhaust swap. I'm torn between either Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back system or the Borla ATAK Cat-Back system. Any suggestions? I just ordered a Vararam Cold Air Intake as well. Thanks for any ideas!!

I am going with the atak as well...borla really out did themselves with this one... I youtubed everything from atak alone to atak with headers, atak with cam, atak with cam and headers and really liked the way they sounded on speakers then last weekend I was cruising home saw a black on black on black on black...if you get the point SS on the road and when he left the stoplight it roared like crazy, he pulled into the gas station right before my street so I popped in too and asked him about his car while we got gas, and that was all borla atak cat back no engine mods. He let me get in and hear it from the inside as well and my decision was made. Long story short...ATAK is ridiculous

If you go with the Flowmaster 3" American Thunder you won't be disappointed at all. That exhaust has a deep rumble when you step on it and has no drone to speak of. I have it and couldn't be happier. It's loud when you want it to be and quiet when you don't.

Timing is everything , swap it up and hit the right hand pedal , that's all there is to it .

I went with Borla ATAK. Putting these on made my car much meaner! Here's a video, but the sound doesn't do it justice...

ATAK plus headers is kinda obnoxious...I originally was going to get the Borla until I found the XS-Power system. Hands down couldn't be beat for price, quality, and sound...

This is too funny, I remember when I was there, 1st post and all.

I wanted the corsa at first as you did, It sounds great. BUT, I now have a 3" complete system from SW including 2" LT Headers, Let me tell you it sounds GREAT!!!!! I do think, NOW, better than the Corsa. NO drone what so ever and with the 2" headers and 3" catbacks, I am open to any other mod I would ever think about.
Don't get me wrong, Corsa is great, I just like the SW better, Now anyways.

Have fun on the site, there is plenty of valuable help here and get "Juiced Performance" to help you out, they are great.
