Woo I got to waste $700

Thanks to a deadbeat seller on tech. Beware of this dude, didn't bother to package the heads right. Heads got completely ****ed! He ran with the money blaming UPS and telling me to take it up with them, rather than manning up and accepting responsibility for being a complete idiot.

Filed a dispute with the credit card company, hopefully they side with me and give it back.

Sorry to hear that man.

As a UPS employee, people need to take more responsibility for packaging rather than blaming UPS. If your package is too fragile to withstand a fall of a couple feet don't ship it. and if you do, write "fragile" and specify what's in it. I know personally any package I see that says "fragile-glass" I handle much more delicately than one that says nothing on it.

Other than that, it's the luck of the draw. If your package is heavy, it will likely be at the bottom of a 10 foot wall of boxes.

I can't emphasize this enough though, package parts to the point where they won't break no matter what the impact or pressure put on them.

Exactly dude, when I shipped you those headers I found every piece of paper and cardboard I had to make sure that box was indestructible and the headers couldn't be damaged. This guy is just a lying sack of shit when he says it's an "opinion" that they weren't packed correctly.

Just went and looked at those pictures.. I neglected to before. But Sweet lord this guys dumb. I guarantee a layer of bubble wrap around those and put them in their own separate boxes and there would be no damage at all. Heads are heavy, I was loading a truck the other day and I had some eddlebrock heads come through. If they were in one box that means they were upwards of 60 lbs. If I had a box like that I would have probably *gently* thrown it on the floor. lol

Funny how he can just disappear online. suddenly he doesn't check any forums anymore. Bastard will get whats coming to him!

Well Paypal just got notice of the Charge Back, and has now opened a dispute. Waiting on the sellers response now apparently.

Good luck. I've seen better heads come out of a 30 year old car sitting in a junk yard.

So I ended up getting Phil @ AI to fix these heads. I am leaving for OTS soon and would not be able to drag this out any further.

I also talked to Citi, and while they denied my charge back, the Investigator I was talking to sided with me on it and was able to credit me some of my money back to cover the repairs.

So in the end Hotsauce is still a coward who has since disappeared, and other people had to fix his screw ups.
