What do yall think?

Not sure if anyone here has seen this car, but its the Vauxhall VXR8, based on the Zeta Platform with the LS3...

Besides the obvious cosmetic differences, would yall agree that this is probably pretty close to what we could expect (performance wise) from our Camaros ?

and man... look at him take those corners ... I cant wait...
And whats more, even Jeremy Clarkson loves it!

engine in vauxhall vxr8 is ls2 (6.0 l) not LS3. But HSV will get ls3 so i assume vauxhall vxr8 will also get ls3 in near future.

Ohhhh... very sorry, there was a shot of the engine and I thought it was an LS3, really should've known from the 6.0L.. oops, but still, Zeta! lol

Being so, should still be very similar performance, right?

I would think performance should be at least as good. I don't know much about they land down under, however, I know they make some sweet cars!

I've never heard of that before. That's awesome. The only thing I've ever heard that controls exhaust from inside the car is an electronic dump tube system which was totally aftermarket. I'm assuming this electronically controls something in the mufflers.

This car is basically the G8 in Aussi trim. I hope to god the Camaro is better than that thing... The GTO was no slouch, just had some bland styling... I know the GT Could beat the LS2 in a foot race, so i hope to god the Camaro is better than this thing...

I love seeing GM produce power, regardless of badging. If they brought back the Geo Metro stocked with the LS9, I'd be happy that GM had the balls to do it. As long as we get something like this in the US, I'm happy.

It is...Vauxhall = Europe, and Holden = Australia.
All brands flying GM's flag.
