The major differences include a different front clip, bigger rims/tires, and Brembo brakes.
The minor differences are things like an inch lower ride height, and larger exhaust tips. To me, you, and other enthusiasts? There's a massive difference. To everyone else? Hardly any...which is great because buyers of the LS/LTs won't feel slighted. |

Like Dragoneye said, to us Camaro enthusiasts, the cars look totally different. But the average person doesn't know the difference.

Here's a good shot of the two of mine. The SS is on the right and LT the left. Notice the bottom lip on the SS is much larger and wraps around the sides ... And also the SS is lower than the LT ...

yeah that's what i thought i told my friend, and he was like dude their the same i'm like no dude i'm pretty sure that other car (v6) looks higher up and skinier. that ss looks just total bad-ass. sitting all low to the ground. with that RS package sexxy.
still debating whether i should pull the trigger on a 1Lt synergy or move up to the bad assness 1ss. but i love this car so i really don't care you can give me the LS in turd brown and i will be like HELL YEAH I"M DRIVING A CAMARO... while flying past mustangs.

There are non-enthusiasts piloting both SSs and LS/LTs. It's these people that we were both referencing. |

I think what dragoneye was saying is that the enthusiast knows the differences between the 2...and knows what we are getting v6 or v8...but to the general public, the 6 & 8 are so close that they cant tell the difference hardly so they think they are getting a bargain and just not getting a big v8 engine but that everything else is the same....I concider myself an enthusiast even with a 6 and darn proud of it. ;-)
