Car Shakes

This has prolly been brought up before but I just wanted to make sure. My car shakes intermitently at idle. My salesman said its normal, and the vettes do it as well. I feel like an idiot asking, and my 67 moved due to a cam, but I've never had a new car like this. So am I ok?

Oh BTW I have a 1SS - 6.2L

Sorry for placing in V6 area LOL.

Wrong section...but, the LSX engines have pretty decent cams stock, so yea the shake, from what I understand, is normal.

I'm sure others know more though

Haha thanks.

The G8 guys with their GEN IV smallblocks are feeling the same thing, I think its just the nature of the LSX engines

Sounds like a loping idle. An agressive cam will do that.

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

It's supposed to do that. 400 HP....

That's what people pay extra for to get into an SS.

Mine does it too, and you know, so does my manual 95 escort, though that's more of a concern...

If it's automatic could be the AFM system.

The shaking is a normal thing.. Anybody notice a noisy gearbox, don't no if this is normal or not.. I hear it when the radio is low or off, sounds like it is coming from right under the stick..
