Here's a strange one.

I'm in Northern Virginia- Ambient temp today of 66 degrees, with about 50% humidity- not sure about elevation, but low.

We did 4 pulls- with the deviation not being more than one click in either direction for HP, or TQ

The averages:

223 hp
245 tq

Dyno was a Dynapack

Car is an M6 with 8900 miles.

The strange part was that as soon as the car hit 5200rpm, the HP curve flat-lined perfectly for all four runs....

Car is stock- with the exception of the exhaust which is essentially a MTR V1.

Injen, custom exhaust and tune coming if someone can suggest a tune that will actually change something on this car.

I'll try and upload the slip tomorrow.

seems everyone is getting some odd results on this dynapack thing... you HP and TQ are reversed from what I would call "normal".

Ok... about a tune... the thing is the stock tune for the car is very highly optimized from the factory... there simply isn't any room for improvement... so it not a matter of aftermarket tunes not changing thing, because they can change things, it's just there is no reason to change things unless you have a mod that requires a change to your tune..

How about when I get my Injen installed, and finish my custom exhaust? What could a tune even do?

My main concern will be pointed out when I upload the dyno sheet... from 5200rpm on, the HP flat-lines.

:(

Nope... no need with the Injen... at least that is my opinion...

As for the 5200 RPM... yeah, those Dynapacks seem to be odd when it comes to our cars at least...

Do we need someone else to take over for the dyno results?

No joke, had my 1LT manual on a mustang yesterday, it pulled 266TQ / 282 HP with airiad intake and MRT 1.0s. These stick cars are STRONG.

Weird numbers! Now 260 hp and 243 tq would sound right and those graphs look odd at best.

Talking

Here's the chart for mine, I know it looks crazy, because it's got Air Fuel Ratio on the right, not HP. The #s are what's important here.
