ZL1 wheels are uuuuuugly

They are way too angular and busy looking. Leave it to GM, they just don't know how to design a damn wheel.

D2 Forged, you should offer them your services

I respectfully...disagree....a lot.

For my part, I find them more appealing than any aftermarket wheel I've ever laid eyes on, yet not as appealing as the SSX concept wheels......purely personal opinion...but one way or the other, personal opinion hardly equals a shot at the company.

I've only seen them in pictures, so maybe they'll look better in person but I doubt it. There are not many after market wheels that look good on the Camaro, the D2 MB2's being the exception of course ;-)

With that $52 billion in government cheese, you'd think GM could design a decent wheel.

I'll tell you what, OP, when you get a ZL1 hit me up and we'll trade wheels.

My 2SS has more power, better wheels, and looks and sounds fantastic. Don't think I'll be getting a ZL1 any time soon.

I don't like them either. I know no one else will see this but they look like five pointed flowers to me for some reason. I like that they are forged, but they could have been soo much lighter and better looking if they went with a design like the SLP ZL1.

There is a better close-up pic of the ZL1 wheel in this article. You may notice the wheels say "ZL1" on them.

I wouldn't call them ugly, just a bit plain. That is better for me though

I've maybe seen ONE aftermarket wheel style that I feel looks worth a crap on a 5th Gen, and that'll soon be an optional OEM wheel anyway. The ZL1 wheel looks fine. The ZR-1 wheel on the 'vette, and those that look like it, looks like buttcheese.

That's why about the only wheel I'd covet if I were to buy one right this minute is the chrome version of the current OEM wheel. All these >5-spoke wheels look like azz.

el ess X, you hate aftermarket wheels, yet you bought a clone Bumblebee car in the wrong shade of yellow?

I have to agree with Tony... they seem like the belong on a challenger. GM designers took a stud and cut its balls off with those wheels They make the car look soft!
