Need Advice....09 v6 mustang or 10 v6 camaro

I'm in a quandry.

Do I wait and order an auto V6 camaro (probably would get a 2LT RS) which wont come in until Novemberish and which will cost me 31k, or do I get a 2009 auto Mustang V6 that is on sale for 16k this weekend at a local dealer? I'm not a racer-type....i'm used to an Infiniti I35 that i've been driving....nothing wrong with it per say, but waranty is expired, so any problems will be costly.

I know this is a camaro forum and many are anti-mustang, and I also realize that the v6 camaro is more like a Mustang GT performance-wise.

What do I do.
Keep in mind --- the 15k price difference can buy a lot of happy.....

the best thing i would do is wait until you test drive both cars and see which one best fit's you. don't worry about the price get what best for you and what you like.

the camaro

Well, you can't beat that low of a price and the Mustang is a nice car. I've had a V6 1998 Mustang last me 11 years now with no major problems. If money is not a concern and you can wait until the Camaro comes out so you can test drive it, I definitely would do that first and see which one you like better.

Test drive, compare what features they have, and then decide what you want to do.

Keep an open mind too, at 31K you could also get a 1SS.

Let's see here...304hp or 220hp? best looking car on the road or a "nice car"?

I just got back from playing with three Camaro's, and trust me, the car is a homerun!

True, but interior appointments and a full-suite of features may appeal to him more than higher performance.

I'd reccomend you go for the Camaro -- all you need is a little patience. The Camaro will be more like your Infiniti than the Mustang, I would think. And I can't imagine the Mustang is anywhere near as well-equipped, either.

im getting a V6 cosing 30K
and im fine with that.
the only SS id get is 37K...outta my range atm.
i like luxury and the looks from the camaro,
when thats added to the performance and mpg of the V6, it fits me perfectly.

and a 16K mustang would likely be base as base gets, i would and am waiting for a better equiped, looking, and performing camaro.

and the oth people saying get a 1SS, the person asking fr advice said they werent the racing type...and is stepping outt of an infiniti, so im be theyd rather slide into the heated leather of a 2Lt than the cloth 1SS

I'm not the racing type, but 426HP trumps heated seats everytime....hell,put a milk crate to sit on in there as long as it sounds like sex and goes like hell.

Even though the Camaro will be almost twice as much, its almost twice the car ... you get what you pay for.
