high pitched ringing noise comming from Camaro
Hey guys, anyone else experiencing an occaional high pitched "ringing" comming from the engine or underneath the car? It has happened to me multiple times a cpl times just while in reverse and just after starting the car, and a few times while first taking off ?
its REALLY loud and I am just curious if anyone else has or knows about this issue?

If it's what I'm hearing, I believe it's an electric fuel pump pressure building.
Quits after a few seconds and is most noticeable in the garage (closed area for sound transfer) on initial start.

well mine makes the whining noise but i think only when the a/c in on, it revvs with the engine idle

Mine does the same, I thought it was a loose piece of exhaust, but it goes away in about 30 seconds.

High pitched ringing noise...somebody's calling you on your bluetooth phone line. Just hit the botton with the phone symbol n the mirror to pick it up.
Sorry, I'm no help.There is a weird noise some are experiencing that is coming from behind the glove box...possible heater core. If its under the car it could be exhaust for drive shaft related??
