I have them. Had delivered with factory quarters already installed. They have been fine and I personally like them. I would agree, the paint on this car isn't great so anything to protect it is nice....can't really wrap the whole car in 3M so anything helps until I decide to put a whole new paint job on it.

Just had mine delivered from GMpartsdirect, going to install this weekend Would much rather have a few guards on than repaint in a few years

U've got the RPI stealths on front and rear.
I've got no chips, and they don't really stand out at all. Still not thrilled with the install mechanics. I'm curious to see how they'll hold up in winter driving.

I think it looks better without them, but I don't think they look bad. They do help protect the paint.

Strange how its the Florida guys who posted the pics. Our roads are pristine; no sand, rocks, salt or any other crap because of all the rain. We need them the least, but they still look great.

And you'll have paint in 20K miles! Congrats...they look great on the car. Ask the TBSS boys that didn't believe in putting splash guards on....those of us that had 3m and and splash guards still had paint on our rockers (mine looked new under the 3m after 75k miles.
I think people will be suprised how chipped their paint gets if they forego the splash guards. Today's paints just don't stand up. Our GT1 Corvette had GM splash guards before it ever left the lot. |
