Drove a CTS-V that had it. Hard to keep your eyes off it.

That's the best part!!!

It'll hold the peak reading for a bit so you can wait for a straight to glance down!

The question I had when I saw that in the brochure was 'Is the readout like the telemetry package from the Ring runs, or just a number?' I imagine it is just the number for one page of the HUD, but it would be nice to get the circle/dot readout on a dedicated page.

What brochure did you see this in?

Thats a good thing!

Missing a apex because you were paying attention to the HUD would be pretty embarrassing to explain.....

Page 6 under HEAD-UP DISPLAY: The dots at the top are “shift lights” staged with increasing engine speed to make it so that the driver doesn’t have to take his/her eyes off the road to execute perfectly timed upshifts,
even under the most demanding conditions. The lower section is a lateral g (cornering force) measurement that holds the peak value in a corner so you can look at it when you heading down the straightaway to the next corner.

I noticed that lateral g meter right away and thought it was amazing.

It's probably a little 'graph' bar with a number readout that slides to the right when you pull G forces... like the Vette.

That's what I figured since they specified 'lateral'. I hope they add an acceleration vector page in though, that would be interesting to have access to while driving.

Pretty nice to know for the guys who love corners. I know the SS guys, we dont know how many G's we are pulling, unless you go buy an aftermarket windshield accessory that measures G's.
