Exhaust tweaked

Updated my exhaust today to please the mrs! Vids in a few, but in any case, it's back to the way it sounded with JBAs shorty and Flowmaster 44s. Only louder, deeper and better, lol!!!

Here's what I currently have from front to back...

ARH long tube headers
ARH hi flow cats
custom x pipe
22" glass packs
Flowmaster Super 44s
MagnaFlow 4" double wall tips...

from the cats back I have $550 invested.

Video in a few moments!!

A quick few of the x pipe and glass packs..

windows down..short

hard take off

drive by

windows down longer

windows up..long. Listen for the downshifts, lol...I love the tranny tune!!

idle and rev

All in all, this is the best this car has sounded!! I love it! I got some creep if I want it, and I got some noise on tap!! I think I'm finally completely happy with the note!

Wow, sounds really really good. If I could have that exact tone but louder I'd be in love. Good job man!

Sounds like a race car....I love it....gotta have it and will someday. If I stop eating I could save 10 to 20 dollars a day. After a year, maybe I could afford it and be skinny too

The cars arriving during the drive by were a surprise, lol. Right after I made that right turn, the quarry just on the other side of the trees set off an explosion. My son was stoked to be so close!

I honestly don't have a clue, lol. They are 22" long and 2.25 in/out.

No. It's now 2.25" starting at the x pipe and back.

A straight through, perforated tube, wrapped with fiberglass like material and another tube covering it. It's the original performance muffler!!

I have an slp loudmouth v1 and was thinking of adding glasspacks to mine because the loudmouth is basically a straight pipe.. Would the sound increase or decrease?

A set of glass packs will tone it down, mellowing it out!

Glass packs used by themselves, compared to stock, are louder. When used with another muffler, like my Flowmasters, they act like resonators, and tone it down.

The resonators on our cars are, in essence, shorty glass packs.

Oh ok, got it. Did you replace the stock resonators with the glass packs I'm assuming?

Yep! Removed about 3' of factory pipe, including the h pipe and resonators.

2.25, I think. They welded right up to the stock pipe, but I think our stock pipe is 2.25 after the cats. I could be wrong though, lol.
