My fiance and I were walking out of Target on Sunday and of course I park a mile away from everyone, so it takes me a while to get to the car. So we get about 1/4 of the way down the lot and I see this little girl, maybe 6 or 7 years old out there around the car and I'm thinking oh no, she's got her hands all over it or something. Then I see a Jeep Cherokee parked near it with one of the rear passenger doors opened. We get closer and realize that the girl's dad had her get out of their car and she's snapping photos of the Camaro from all different angles! It was pretty funny to watch it as we're walking up towards it, so we walk slow. She would go from one side to the other snapping shots, some crouching down and others standing up. I see the dad in the driver's seat directing her where to take photos from. We get close to the car and she sees us watching her and like she thought she would get in trouble or something, she runs to her dad's Jeep and jumps in and he leaves. I also see another small child in the car. I give them a nod and a wave and he waves and smiles, slightly embarrassed. I'm thinking he's going to go home to his wife afterwards and showing her the photos and saying "honey, this is the car I've been talking to you about buying!"

Had a guy pull up to me the other day honking his horn.. As a roll down the window he holds up a toy model of a Camaro and says he will have his one day

Waiting for my wife in front of a store lot, older guy bout 65, parks his Cadillac next to me and says hey you wanna take me for a spin, I said sure why not. He jumps in and I breeeze him around town. Back to the store he jumps out with an ear to ear and says to his wife in the Cadillac, I gotta have one!.

It is amazing the response this car gets while driving around. My favorite is the security guard who does the wave to let me through, then slowly turns and watches as I drive away. Really pisses off the people behind me when he stops checking there ID's so he can look at my car. I personally love watching young boys reaction when they see it, the look they give could be the same look they give the space shuttle.

I work in Manahattan and on the way to work on Friday I stopped at a light on 42 st and 8th ave. Real busy with tourists. I have a women with camera walk in fron as light turns green and she tells me to wait while she starts shooting pics of my car with 42st as backround. Then a few blocks later on 12th ave and 42 st, 2 men start doing same thing, shooting pics from different angles. LOve it....

Last Thursday a kid on the side of road starting pointing and jumping up and down yelling at his friend as I passed by. I can't believe that I've had the car a year and a half and people are still excited to see it.

All the time...I LOVE when people just stop to watch it go by. I always give a little rev of the engine just to let them know, "yes...it IS MEAN."

They usually give a thumbs up while an even bigger smile grows.

I've only had my Camaro for a month and I have so many stories, but one time a woman walked right up to the car on the passenger where my Lovely Wife was sitting, and said to me "I like your car". Needless to say my Lovely Bride was Pissed.

Doesn't it just give you a warm feeling. I've had so many gas station conversations that I stopped counting. Mostly older men asking about the specs and how they love that it resembles the 67-69 Camaro. A lot of them are shocked to see a young woman my age driving it and I've even been asked was it my man's car. I gladly say "No this is my toy his is a Vette."
