Props for skills and doing it yourself, but here's where doing it yourself sucks.
You can see where the paint over-ran on your trunk, the lines are not perfect, your corners are very visibly crooked / thicker than the rest of the lines, and the lines hugging the rear do not flow with the body lines. They are more concave than the body lines. But all in all, looks good for $250. |

Not sure about some of the stuff you said, but as for as how the bottom of the stripe looks on the trunk lid that is the template. I just put it on my car. Came out sweet. I love these stripes and I agree I don't think the stencil kit was worth $100 when it didn't even come with everything. |

Um, Im sure in your world you perceived that as a compliment. In mine your just a jerk. The lines are thicker because the stencil kit was cut that way. Like my article read the stencil kit was not perfect and I tried to correct it myself, but since I don't do this for a living Perfection was not possible. I did it myself because I could and don't mind challenges. There is no visible run as you said on the trunk, i think your confusing the reflection in the picture. Oh one more thing, not being a keyboard commando I am easily found if you want, work on your compliments, but what else could I expect look where your from, ARROGANTJERK! Looks really, good, congratulations. I'm sure it wasn't easy to line it up.
Since I purchased an SS I've been attempting some modifications myself, obviously the easier stuff, I'm not a mechanic so will not do anything mechanical. However, I have tinted all the lights, and saved myself a few hundred in labour. Just purchased the tint kid, looked over the instructions and did it myself. And, to my surprise it came out quite nice. Currently, I'm planning on upgrading the spoiler, and will be obtaining a stripe continuation kit as well. Planning, on doing it myself too, so wish me luck. I hope I have as much success as you did.
