A few exotics in the mountains - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Had a little meet this morning. Breakfast and a few hours of mountain driving in exotics. My friend's father has one of the greatest exotic collections I have ever seen and he decided to let us take one while he drove another. We drove his F430 and switched half way into the Gallardo when he took over the F430. Next time my friend and I are bringing his evo and my sti to see how we keep up with the exotics. His other cars consist of: Lotus Elise which we are turbocharging over the winter, Murcielago (

doesn't take this one on the mountain drives. . . too risky), ferrari 355, older 911, cayenne turbo, ferrari 355, testerosa and others. Other cars on the drive with us included a 911 GT2, a v8 vantage, a few other porsches, an m5, etc. I am uploading the videos from my phone now and will post them here shortly. Don't expect great quality, but the road is fantastic and the videos are pretty cool

EDIT: BTW, if anyone is in the Denver area and interested in joining for our next mountain run, you are more than welcome, just shoot me a PM. It is a blast.

nice. have a friend whose dad owns planes, he let me fly an F4 over the pacific. video coming.

Haha nice. Planes are awesome. Unfortunately, the best part of the video got cut out somehow. You can hear us talking about it when I say, "that was ****ing scary!" We hit a gravel patch on the exit of a turn and lost control in the F430. The front of the car was pointed directly off the edge of a huge drop when we finally caught traction. If we didn't die from the crash his dad would have killed us LOL.

A few months ago I saw a white Gallardo while I was driving my SS. I tried to get up next to him but was trapped behind a bunch of slow moving cars blocking me in.

I had to take an exit but I almost drove by it to try and catch him but I had to meet people so I decided not to. It would have been fun to "play" with him though.

Nice. They're awesome cars. The guy that owned these exotics (my friends Dad) has a friend with a really realistic batman costume like the dark knight one and he was going to borrow it and drive his grey murcielago around town. I'm not sure if he did or not.
