Halos and HID on LS

This was my thanksgiving project and I'm happy with the outcome , though removing the bumper was harder than I expected!

I installed ebay Eagle Eyes projector headlights and a H9 6000K HID kit.

Many thanks to the pioneers who paved the way: MagnumForceGB, erk5000, Tx1Lt and x7productions

And no, I don't plan on getting fog lights

After:

Note: in the pic below, the wrinkles are from the packaging plastic wrap.

What was so hard on the bumper? Any suggestions you have on that?

I'll be doing some projectors (not Eagle Eyes though) in a month or so. I'll be having to make the switch like you once my lights are done.

There are three hard to reach bolts on each side holding the bumper to the frame and the only way I could get to them was by squeezing my hand through the wheel well. It's recommended you remove the tires for easier access but I found that too cumbersome, especially since the owner's manual recommends you use a torque wrench to put them back, which I don't have.

When you reinstall the wheels you need 140 pounds on a ! foot long bar. You dont "need" a torque wrench. Much easier when you remove the wheel. Check out my thread about my retrofit.

I live in the city and it's pretty well-lit where I am so I can't make any promises. However, the output looks exactly as others have described:
